Refrain is a local-first iOS app. Your sessions, intents, rules, and stats are stored on your device using Apple's local storage frameworks.

What we collect

• Nothing by default. We do not run accounts, server sync, advertising, or third-party analytics.
• App Store purchase state. If you subscribe to Refrain Pro, Apple processes the transaction and reports entitlement state to your device. We do not receive your card details.
• Support email. If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send.

What we do not do

• No advertising SDKs.
• No third-party analytics SDKs.
• No data brokers, selling, or cross-app tracking.
• No server-side storage of your focus sessions.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Refrain may schedule local notifications for session reminders or completion prompts. These are handled on device.

Deleting your data

Open Settings in Refrain and tap Delete everything. This removes local sessions, intents, rules, and stats from the device. Your App Store subscription is managed separately through Apple.
